SCOTTeVEST, INC is looking for a Social Media Manager

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can take SCOTTeVEST’s social media platforms to a new level. This position is based at our headquarters in Sun Valley, Idaho - one of the premier ski destinations in the United States.

You must have experience running social media efforts (organic, boosted, and paid) for another company and have a track record of success. Simply having a personal Facebook account does not make you qualified for this position.

 

CONTENT AND ANALYTICS ARE KEY

It starts with great content. We have 17 years of historical content to sift through - and we are making more each day. You would be responsible for all posts and responses, ensuring that our brand has an engaging and fun voice. Humor is your friend. Getting the right content out - at the right time - will set you apart from your peers.

Social Media isn’t just about great content though - what is interesting to one person is not always interesting to another. It is vital to measure the engagement and response of every post and always have hard data to back up every post.

We put money behind our posts and you would be responsible for boosting posts and our Social Media Advertising efforts. We currently work with an agency and you would become the manager of that account - potentially moving away from an agency and handling those efforts in house.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Social Media Manager your job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Promote content through social advertising.
  • Develop brand awareness and online reputation.
  • Ensure that all content is consistent with SeV brand standards and identity.
  • Investigate and innovate engaging ways to push content to social media platforms.
  • Cultivate leads and sales.
  • Partner with the marketing team and other departments to brainstorm and develop creative around various storylines.
  • Measure performance using analytics and make decisions based on what works.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers that reach out on social media channels.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Great writing skills are an absolute must.
  • You must be HYPER ORGANIZED to the point of OBSESSION. Not kidding.
  • You need to be comfortable with ambiguity, with a strong ability to “figure it out” on the fly.
  • You must be open to change.
  • You must be someone who works quickly AND efficiently.
  • You must be willing to work odd hours occasionally.
  • You must have a sense of humor. While pockets are serious business, we are a quirky group that believes wholeheartedly in the “Work Hard, Play Hard” philosophy!
